Our Specialist Education and Care Services in the UK

Aspris Children’s Services comprises of specialist schools, colleges and children’s homes providing the highest standards of support to children with special educational needs and vulnerable young people. In 2022, Aspris broadened their portfolio by acquiring Sandcastle Care consisting of 51 children’s homes across the North West of England.

With a workforce of over 3,000 staff, including some of the UK’s leading experts in working with young people with autism and other special educational needs, we have an unwavering focus on achieving the very best outcomes and empowering young people aged 5-25 years to fulfil their own unique potential. Our aim is to help them to achieve their aspirations, no matter what challenges they may face.

Specialist schools and colleges

Through our Aspris Education division, we have extensive experience of working with children and young people with a range of needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs and learning difficulties.

We have an in-depth understanding of these challenges and the ways in which they can affect a young person, both academically and socially. This awareness shapes everything that we do, from the subjects offered in our schools and colleges, to the design and layout of our buildings.

Residential care services

Through our Aspris Care division, Aspris Children’s Services has a portfolio of children’s homes across the UK offering a range of flexible care options. These can be tailored to the individual’s circumstances and are appropriate to their level of need, with the aim of achieving the best possible outcomes.

Our safe, nurturing and homely environments provide stability and care for vulnerable young people, empowering them to overcome their barriers and succeed. Our residential care services also support the young people to engage with education either through one of our associated Aspris specialist schools and colleges or alternative education providers, and lay the foundations for successful transitions to the next stage of their life.
