Aspris, the leading specialist education, residential care and healthcare provider, is pleased to announce that Sandcastle Care has now joined the group as a wholly owned division. The combined group will have annual revenues of over £200 million and will continue to be led by Trevor Torrington.
Sandcastle is a residential childcare provider based on the Fylde Coast in the North West of England and shares many important values with Aspris, with a focus on high quality, highly nurturing and life changing residential childcare in small homely environments. Both organisations are majority owned by Waterland Private Equity and following the combination Sandcastle will retain its name and brand while operating as a division of Aspris, with Caroline Mathers retaining day to day responsibility as Sandcastle’s CEO.
Financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
